Both the Avance 1201C and 1501C are great options to start or expand a customization business. But there are four main differences between these machines that might help you pick what’s right for you.
1. Needles
The Avancé 1201C is a single-head, 12-needle machine. This means you can have 12 colors of thread on your machine at one time.
The Avancé 1501C is a single head, 15 needles machine, this means you can have 15 colors of thread on your machine at one time.
This may seem like a small difference, but big-time embroiderers with color combos often appreciate the extra three cones of thread ready to go on their machine.
2. Design Field Size
The second difference between these machines is the embroidery field size. The 1201C has an embroidery field of 8″ X 14″ while the 1501C offers 14″ X 22″. These are both huge fields and will allow you to embroider on almost anything. However, the 1501C may be the better option for items like banners, table runners, or HUGE jacket backs.
3. Size
The Avancé 1201C and 1501C also vary in machine size. The 1201C is extremely portable. Its lightweight design makes it easy to travel with and is great for tradeshows and other booth-style events. It is also a great size for a home office or bedroom setup.
4. Price
The price tag on these machines is also going to be different with the added embroidery size and needles on the Avancé 1501C it has a higher price tag than the 1201C. However, ColDesi offers financing options on both of these commercial embroidery machines.
