5. Investigate the Cause

● Can you build in better quality control?
● Do you need to retrain or revise systems?
● Can technology help automate steps?
6. Handle the Outcome with Integrity
Be prepared for various responses:
● Cancelation requests? Honor them gracefully.
● Demands for refunds? Weigh the long-term relationship.
● Discounts or freebies? Offer them as a goodwill gesture.
● No resolution on first contact? Stay in touch until resolved.
7. Turn Mistakes Into Opportunities
When handled well, mistakes can build loyalty:
